You booked the taco guy. The string lights are up. Then the first guest slaps their ankle at 7:40 p.m. That is the Austin summer party, and it is preventable if you work backward from the date instead of buying a zapper on Friday.
We start in Austin. If the party is in Travis, Williamson, or Hays County, tell us the date on the assessment form and we will time the visit around it.
Two weeks out
One life cycle. Dump every saucer, toy, tarp low, and birdbath. Drop a Bti dunk in water you cannot empty. The EPA life-cycle page is why two weeks is the number, not a marketing countdown.
One week out
Re-check anything that refills after irrigation. Trim the hedge line where adults rest in the day. Book the professional barrier treatment now so you still have a weather window.
One to three days out
This is the high-leverage visit: residual on shaded vegetation, dry before guests arrive. A special-event spray is a normal ask. We do not fog the whole neighborhood. We treat the yard people will actually stand in.
Party night
Fans at seating height. EPA-registered repellent in a basket by the drinks. Skip the theater candles as your only plan. If they come back between our visit and the party, we come back. That is the guarantee, in English.
Request the Austin assessment. Put the party date in the notes.
